1. Connect & Discover
With a quick "hello," our experience begins! You can find lots of details regarding our services throughout the "All Services" tab, or reach out & I will be delighted to point you in the right direction for your photo needs. We can explore the different collections together, and begin deciding details such as date, location, and time.
2. Plan & Prepare
Once we've determined the best collection for your vision, we'll begin to plan your session. A quick contract & deposit makes your booking official. From there, we'll start preparing for your session with details such as outfits, styling, and sharing inspiration leading to the day of the session.
3. Capture & Deliver
On the day of your session, come prepared with your best smile! We'll start with simple poses, and advance to a variety of angles, compositions, and more.
Within 48 hours following your session, I will send a link to your online preview. Within three weeks for all portrait sessions, and eight weeks for weddings, I will send an updated link with the fully edited gallery.

FAQ
This is my first photoshoot. What should I know?
Don't stress the small things! I've had the joy of guiding dozens & dozens of clients through their first professional photo session. I'll help walk you through all of the steps of the process from beginning to end.
How many photos will I receive?
LOTS! I never have a limit on how many photos I send. I deliver as much as possible, as long as the photos are not duplicates or blurry. I deliver a minimum of 45 images for 30 minute portrait sessions, and a minimum of 50 images per coverage hour for weddings. Please note though, these are minimums, and I chronically over-deliver. But who doesn't love a big gallery?!
What should I wear?
A general rule of thumb is to wear something that represents your style, and fits the environment of the location we're shooting in. Additionally, to pair well with the light and airy feel of your photos, I would recommend lighter, neutral or muted colors, free of any bold patterns smaller than a dime.

Where are you located?
I'm currently based in Aurora, IL and serve the surrounding areas. All photo packages include up to 30 miles of travel. Travel fees will be applied for locations further than that.
Do you provide prints?
Prints are not included in my packages, however, you may purchase prints through your photo gallery. To order prints, please select the images from your gallery, and the website will walk you through. Orders are automatically fulfilled through Miller's Lab, and will ship directly to you.

What if my kids won't sit still?
Not a problem! For young families, I come prepared with all the stops. We'll play games, do interactive poses, and take micro-breaks in between to get all those jitters out. My husband and I have a combined total of over 20 nieces and nephews, so photographing energetic little ones is a walk (or run) in the park!
What payment methods do you accept?
Upon booking, I will send out an online proposal to your email which includes a contract & invoice which accepts card payments and bank transfer. This is the most secure way to do online payment. A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is due at booking. I will also accept the remaining balance for portrait sessions through cash payment at the completion of the session's contracted date and time.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
One thing that stands true about living in the Midwest is that the weather has a mind of its own. If the forecast shows an elevated chance of precipitation (60% or above), or there is severe weather expected (i.e. severe thunderstorm warnings, tornado warnings, high wind warnings, winter weather warnings, or dangerously hot or cold temperatures), I am happy to reschedule one rain date per session. Safety is my top priority, and no one can control the weather. Reschedules are subject to availability and priority goes to first date and time inquiry. In the event of inclement conditions, a final call will be made as late as one hour prior to the start of the session.
